I was shocked to read that noted journalist Tim Russert died today. Russert was the commencement speaker at my graduation from the University of Oklahoma in 2002. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family members.

I was shocked by this too. I really enjoyed watching him on Meet the Press on Sunday mornings (well, at least for about 5 minutes before I run off to worship). He was one of my favorites, and I heard today that he was a devout Catholic.
